JOIN AVOA
Joining a new organization can be complicated if you're not familiar with the process. But we've made it simple and easy for anyone to become a member.
Remember. First year officials are elegible for a 50% discount on local dues.
To begin your membership, follow these steps and you'll be enrolled in no time. Welcome to the AVOA family!
STEP 1:
- Go to www.taso.org.
- Returning members,
click on "RENEW"
- New members,
Click on "APPLY"
STEP 2:
- Returning members will click "Yes" and follow the prompts.
- New Members will click "No"
STEP 3:
- Attend a TASO Sports Clinic: Attend a State, Regional, or Online clinic.
STEP 4:
-Rules Test: Pass the online open-book rules test via TASO

opens July 15, 2026 and closes August 18, 2026

A minimum score of 70 is required to pass; a 90 or better is required to work playoff matches. You may take it up to 5 times.
STEP 5:
-Pay Local Dues:

$40.00 for returning members

$20.00 for new members

YOU MUST SELECT "GOLDEN SPREAD VOLLEYBALL OFFICIAL'S ASSOCIATION" AS YOUR CHAPTER.
