FACE COVERINGS

There seems to be some confusion regarding the wearing of face coverings.  While wearing face coverings while actively officiating a match is optional, wearing them at all other times is not. This would include, but not limited to:

  • Arriving and leaving the court

  • All pre-match and post-match activities

  • Between sets

  • Time-outs, when engaged in a discussion with a player or coach

  • Any discussions with the scorer’s table.

I hope this helps with any confusion, as we need to do our part to assist in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

INCIDENT REPORTS

Both the UIL and TAPPS have asked us to submit an Incident Report if the coaches, bench players, or scorer’s table staff are not wearing face coverings during the match.  There is no punitive action to be taken, just submit the Incident Report.

If you have any questions, please send them to volletball@taso.org.
